This page explains, in plain language, what information this website may collect, how it is used, and the cookies and analytics it relies on. It also explains how to change your cookie choices at any time.

Who operates this site

KSR Media is the photography business of Akeem Jones, based in the Fort Worth and Dallas–Fort Worth area. You can reach KSR Media by email at akeem.jones@ksr-media.com.

What information may be collected

Most of the site can be browsed without giving any personal information. Information is collected only when it is needed to provide something you ask for, or — with your consent — to measure how the site is used:

• Account & client galleries. If you sign in, an email address and a secure login session are used to keep you signed in and to control access to private galleries.
• Bookings & contact. If you email or use a booking link, the details you send (such as your name, email, and message) are used to respond.
• Purchases. If you buy prints or photos, payment is handled by Stripe; an order record is kept to fulfil and support the purchase.
• Downloads. When downloads are enabled for a gallery, access checks (and any download PIN) are used to authorize and record the download.
• Analytics & advertising (optional). With your consent, aggregate usage data — pages and albums viewed, downloads, booking and checkout interest, and general performance — is collected to understand traffic and improve the experience, and your visit is reported to Meta to measure and target KSR Media advertising.

Cookies & storage (Cookie Policy)

Cookies and similar browser storage fall into two groups. You control the optional group; the necessary group cannot be turned off because the site cannot function without it.

Necessary

Required for login, security, checkout, the shopping cart, private gallery access, and downloads. This includes your sign-in session, the cart's contents, security/authentication callbacks, download authorization, and a record of your cookie choice. These are first-party and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Analytics & advertising (optional)

Off until you accept. When enabled, the site uses Google Analytics 4 and a first-party analytics system to measure visits, albums and photos viewed, downloads, booking and checkout interest, and site performance, and it loads the Meta Pixel, which reports your visit to Meta for advertising. These set cookies (for example, a visitor and a session identifier, and Meta's own identifiers) and are only active after you opt in.

Your cookie choice is remembered in a first-party cookie for up to one year. Rejecting analytics does not block any necessary site function — login, galleries, cart, checkout, and downloads continue to work the same way.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google. It loads and sets analytics cookies only after you accept optional cookies. The site uses Google Consent Mode: advertising signals are always denied, and analytics is enabled only with your consent. If you decline or later turn optional cookies off, Google Analytics is stopped. Google Analytics is used for measurement only, never for advertising.

Meta Pixel

The Meta Pixel is provided by Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It loads only after you accept optional cookies, and it reports the pages you visit on this site to Meta, so KSR Media can measure whether its advertising works and reach people with similar interests. This is cross-site advertising measurement: unlike the analytics above, the data leaves KSR Media and is then held by Meta under Meta's own terms. If you decline, or later turn optional cookies off, the pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.

The pixel never runs on the private parts of this site. It is not loaded in the admin area, on client gallery delivery links, invoices, booking confirmation or management links, or password-reset pages — so the private links sent to clients are never shared with Meta.

Client galleries & downloads

Private and client galleries are access-controlled. Some galleries require signing in or a download PIN. These checks are part of the necessary, security functions of the site and run regardless of your analytics choice. Original full-resolution files are protected and are not made public.

Purchases & payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe and are not stored by KSR Media. KSR Media keeps an order record (such as the items purchased and confirmation details) to fulfil and support your order. These records are necessary for the purchase and are kept regardless of your analytics choice.

How information is used

Information is used to provide the site and the things you ask for: signing you in, showing your galleries, processing downloads and purchases, and responding to bookings and messages. With your consent, aggregate analytics is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Information is not sold.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of service providers to operate:

• Netlify — website hosting and content delivery.
• Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing for purchases.
• Google Analytics — optional analytics (only after consent).
• Meta — optional advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel (only after consent).
• Resend — sending account and transactional emails.

Changing your cookie preferences

You can change your choice at any time — you do not need to clear your browser storage. Use the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer, or the button below, to reopen your preferences and accept or reject the optional analytics and advertising cookies.
