These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KSR Media website and the services offered through it, including bookings, purchases, digital downloads, and print requests. KSR Media is the photography business of Akeem Jones, based in the Fort Worth and Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area of Texas. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
You may browse the public gallery and portfolio, and use the booking, cart, and download features as intended. You agree to provide accurate information, to use the site only for lawful purposes, and not to attempt to access accounts, galleries, admin areas, or files you are not authorized to access. Private and client galleries are access-controlled; do not share access credentials or download PINs.
Session requests are submitted through the site and are confirmed by KSR Media. A booking is not final until KSR Media confirms it and any required non-refundable retainer is paid; the remaining balance is due on or before the session day. With at least 48 hours’ notice you may reschedule once at no charge, subject to availability. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice, and no-shows, forfeit the retainer. The full booking, deposit, and cancellation terms are shown when you book and in the Refund & Sales Policy. KSR Media may reschedule at no penalty to you for severe weather, illness, or emergencies. Time beyond the booked session is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge agreed in advance.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. KSR Media does not receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD) and are charged at the amounts presented at checkout or on your invoice. Applicable sales tax may be added where required by law and is reflected at checkout or on the invoice. You authorize KSR Media (through Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide for the amounts you approve — deposits, balances, prints, and digital purchases.
Purchased digital downloads are delivered after successful payment via a secure link, valid for a 30-day access window and also sent to your email. Downloaded files are the clean, full-resolution images without the preview watermark. You are responsible for saving your files during the access window. Because digital goods are delivered instantly, digital purchases are final once delivered — see the Refund & Sales Policy for the limited exceptions (such as a failed link or wrong file).
Prints are handled as a request-and-review process: you submit the photos and product you want, KSR Media reviews the request and confirms pricing and details, and payment is collected before fulfillment. Only photos that have been released for printing are eligible. Turnaround times are estimates and are described on the Print Shop page, along with pickup and shipping options; shipping costs, where applicable, are the client’s responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, images you purchase or download are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Personal use includes printing, sharing with family and friends, and posting to your personal social media (a credit to KSR Media is appreciated where practical). It does not include resale, commercial or promotional use, licensing to third parties, entering images into contests for profit, or using the images to train or generate AI models — unless a separate written commercial license is agreed in advance. Commercial licensing is available by written agreement; contact KSR Media for details.
All photographs created by KSR Media remain the copyright of Akeem Jones (KSR Media). Purchasing a print or a digital download grants you the usage license described above; it does not transfer copyright. KSR Media may display images it creates in its portfolio, website, and social media to promote its work — unless you ask us in writing not to. For private sessions and galleries involving minors, tell us at booking if you would prefer your images not be shown publicly, and we will honor that.
You agree to provide accurate booking and contact details, to communicate scheduling needs within the stated windows, and — where a session involves other people or a venue — to secure any necessary permissions or model consent, including for minors. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and any gallery/download access private.
You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell images or site content without permission; remove or obscure watermarks or copyright notices on previews; attempt to reach original files, private galleries, other customers’ data, or admin functions; probe, overload, or disrupt the site; or use the site’s forms or email features to send spam or unlawful content.
The site, sessions, and materials are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KSR Media’s total liability for any claim relating to the site, a session, or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product at issue. KSR Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for events beyond its reasonable control — including illness, equipment failure, severe weather, or venue and third-party issues. Photography involves creative and artistic judgment; differences in style or interpretation are not, by themselves, grounds for a refund.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or KSR Media’s services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, and you agree to that jurisdiction and venue.
KSR Media may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
